Yet another well organised International Super League ( Kick Boxing k1 and Muaythai) event  with a rich program and in cooperation with EML.
Maria Avramidou (Atlas Muaythai)  executed a well balanced competition that spectators enjoyed. Well done

Χρόνια πολλά και καλά, καλή χρονιά.
Σου στέλνω ένα μήνυμα για αγώνες.

Θα ήθελα να σε ενημερώσω για μία διοργάνωση που θα γίνει 9 Μαρτίου υπό την αιγίδα της EML αγώνες σε 3 κατηγορίες σε 4άδες. Οι κατηγορίες είναι -67, -72 και -76 κιλά. Οι νικητές θα κατακτήσουν την ζώνη της διοργάνωσης και θα διεκδικήσουν τον τίτλο Ευρώπης το 2015. Οι αγώνες είναι χωρίς προστατευτικά, 3 γύροι των 3 λεπτών, ενώ παρών θα είναι και ο πρόεδρος της EML, ως supervisor. Οι αθλητές θα αμειφθούν με το 50% των εισιτηρίων που θα διακινήσουν.
Σε παρακαλώ στείλτε τα ονόματα των αθλητών που θα συμμετέχουν μέχρι τις 21/1. Στην ίδια διοργάνωση θα γίνουν και άλλοι αγώνες εκτός των προαναφερόμενων κατηγοριών, με προστατευτικά (κάσκα, καλαμίδες, επιαγκωνίδες).
Όπως και στους προηγούμενους αγώνες θα είναι καλυμμένα διαμονή, μετακινήσεις (προς και από το ξενοδοχείο - γήπεδο) και διατροφή.
Οι αγώνες θα γίνουν στο Δημοτικό Κλειστό Γυμναστήριο Αγ. Βαρβάρας.

Dear National Federations,

We are now less than 4 months away from the 2014 IFMA World Championships and it looks like it will be our largest in numbers. Please ensure that you support our Sport Director and also the LOC with timely submission of all forms.

As you can see from the tentative itinerary that was sent by our Sport Director, there will be many activities planned during the event. We will soon send you more details on the commission meetings, AGM and Congress which will be on the subject “Youth & Sport”.

This year, the youth competition (junior 17, junior under 17, kids, cadets & tykes) will be run separately from the seniors as per our revised IFMA Rules & Regulations.

As you have been informed by our Sport Director, we will have many courses on offer during the event. It is important that all NFs send instructors to these courses. The following courses will be held:

• Muayboran Course (3 days)
  

• Khan Instructor Course (3 days)
  

• Fitness PT Pad Master Course (2 days)
  

There will be a separate pad master course in order to introduce muaythai to the fitness world. If you have any fitness instructors who would like to participate in this course, please feel free to invite them along and register them through your NF.

• Pee Muay Music Course (3 days) / Free of charge
  

As we believe that we should nurture future non-Thai muaythai band musicians, this course will be on offer free of charge to teach the art of muaythai music to all musically able participants who are interested.

•  R&J Seminar (2 days + 1 Exam day)

Our fighters had a great well organised event to prove their skills, while our national Team did a great job in Greece the day before.

Dear Presidents & General Secretaries,

I would like to thank everyone for your hard work throughout the past year. 2013 was another important year for our art and sport with its inclusion into the IWGA, the successful World Combat Games under patronage of the IOC and certainly the Asian Indoor Martial Arts Games under the OCA.

The year 2014 will see our Muaythai day in Thailand and around the world in February as well as the upcoming World Championships in May which is much more than just a World Championship with Executive Board meetings, AGM, various commission meetings, congress and many other activities in beautiful Langkawi, Malaysia.

As you are all aware, WMC is in its reconstruction process. But we will continue to cooperate on the education program, as it is an important tool for the cultural and sportive aspects of Muaythai. From 2014 onward  the Khan and Muay Boran will be improved. We have set up a committee with leading masters. Their existing diplomas and degrees will be reviewed and certified and we will also ensure that we will work closely with your government laws on the coaching curriculum.

We also will have improved our Muaythai for Every Body, and we will introduce a special fitness program which your NF can bring to fitness gyms, the corporate world and especially children.
We will do separate courses, obviously, during the World Championships but also regional ones. I will inform you soon and we will approach various countries to be the host of the 2014 workshops.

Once again, I would like to thank everyone for their hard work especially the team in our international office whom have truly put in the hours and have worked overtime.
